Novelo Coffee is a sole proprietorship registered in the Province of Ontario under the Business Names Act. Business identification number: 1001665746. Registered business name: NOVELOCOFFEE. Sole proprietor: Hanad Sahal Hassan. Trading and shipping from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

By placing an order, subscribing to our newsletter, or using our chatbot, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Novelo sells specialty coffee for personal consumption. Every lot is professionally cupped and graded prior to sale. Certain products (currently Novelo Dusk and Novelo Bloom) are shown for waitlist only and are not available for purchase until we announce launch.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, and correct pricing errors before an order ships.

All prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable provincial and federal taxes will be added at checkout based on your shipping province. Prices may change without notice.

Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. By completing checkout you authorize the charge and represent that you are the lawful holder of the payment method.

We may cancel an order that we suspect to be fraudulent, that cannot be shipped, or that was placed on a product listed at an obviously incorrect price. In every such case you receive a full refund of any amount charged.

• We ship only within Canada.
• Flat CAD $8 standard shipping on orders under $60 CAD.
• Free standard shipping on Canadian orders of $60 CAD or more.
• Coffee is roasted to order and ships within 3-5 business days. Delivery typically arrives within 5-7 business days after shipping.
• Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier scans the package as delivered. Novelo is not responsible for packages stolen from unattended addresses.

Coffee is a perishable food product. For food-safety reasons we cannot accept returns of opened bags. Unopened bags may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the product price (excluding shipping). To initiate a return, email us with your order number and a photo of the unopened bag.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or was not what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo and we will replace or refund the affected item at our discretion.

Joining a waitlist means we may send you one launch announcement for that specific product. Newsletter subscribers may receive periodic origin stories, brew guides, and product announcements. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Withdrawing consent is instantaneous and permanent.

Our chatbot is a customer-support assistant powered by Anthropic's Claude Sonnet model. It provides information about our coffee, orders, and brewing. It is not a substitute for professional medical, dietary, allergy, or nutritional advice. Do not rely on chatbot responses for health-critical decisions.

Our coffee is roasted in a facility that handles only coffee. It contains no added ingredients. However, we cannot guarantee absence of trace contaminants introduced upstream of our facility. If you have a serious allergy, contact us before ordering.

All content on novelocoffee.ca — text, graphics, logos, product names (Novelo, Dawn, Mist, Dusk, Bloom, Origins), and photography — is owned by Novelo Coffee. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use it commercially without our written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Novelo Coffee's total liability arising out of or related to your use of the service or purchase of our coffee shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Novelo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under applicable provincial consumer protection legislation, which cannot be waived by contract.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by the courts of Ontario, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction, subject to your rights under consumer protection statutes to bring claims in your home province.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced at the top of this page and notified to newsletter subscribers. Your continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
